You do know, don't you, that
the seven letters to the seven churches in Revelation 2
and 3 accurately picture all of church history in
startling detail? Well, if not... you should!
After all, we spent tons of time and type on it.
But did you also know that the same seven letters also paint a sad, harrowing
portrait of a church's, or an individual Christian's, slide from spiritual fervency to... well, lukewarmness. From being the beloved to being what
the Lord vomits out of His mouth. Ouch. |

How do you describe these
144,000 unbelievable overcomers? Do you call them
dynamic? No, they are much more than that.
How about kinetic? Or, charismatic? Maybe
they are just natural born leaders, you know, those
destined for success and victory? I don't know. All these terms reek of worldly praise and not heavenly praise. Seems somewhat shallow. Scripture calls them, among other things, blameless. Blameless! Did you ever wonder what that means? Stay tuned and find out. |

Definition:
Deconstruction - "the desire to tear down orthodoxy,
institutions, traditions, understandings, etc., in order to
reconstruct, or reinterpret them in a postmodern world." Ok, and what does any of this have to do with Lot? Or with his living near, or next to, or in the city of Sodom? Why is this even an issue? And what about the whole problem of hypocrites in the church? What does deconstruction and postmodernism say about hypocrisy? Great questions. Stay tuned and find out... |

Tom Winn is Not the Antichrist!

The Hebrew, Greek and Latin
language each have a gematria associated with each
letter of their alphabet. "What is a gematria?"
you ask. A gematria is basically a system that is
designed to assign numerical values to each letter of
their particular alphabet. For the prophecy buff, this would naturally lend itself to the task of trying to determine the identity of the antichrist by finding a man's name whose numerical values add up to the infamous 666 of Revelation 13. Sound far-fetched? It's really not. Spend a few minutes with us and you will see that Tom Winn is not the antichrist. |

The Joy of Believing the Lie

I am keenly aware of the fact that you may be wondering
about a guy who would write a book entitled,
Love Jesus, Hate
Church. You probably have some questions, maybe many
questions, about the origins of a book that makes people as
uncomfortable as
Love Jesus, Hate Church has proven to do.
You may be asking yourself, "How can you be a Christian
and use the words Love and Hate and Jesus and Church all in
the same sentence? It just seems so wrong."
And, you're right. It does seem wrong.
True. But wrong.
Yep, I would probably be wondering the same thing if
the tables were turned and I found myself in your shoes.
So, let me see if I can shed some light on who I am and
why I do what I do by telling you a bit about myself and how I
came to write
Love Jesus, Hate Church. Let me share with you,
oh, how shall I put it— the joy of believing the lie. I
believe this will give you a better grasp of who I am and why
I wrote
Love Jesus, Hate Church.
